Swinford Town Centre

The site is on the edge of Swinford town centre. A mix of typical town centre uses is proposed (commercial, retail, residential, childcare & medical centre.) The shops and supermarket form an internal street under first floor apartments in a new shopping centre. Uses in the centre are carefully controlled to eliminate blank elevations on the street. New town centre streetscape (streets, squares and courtyards) replaces existing low density industrial development. Housing is clustered around a semi-public landscaped courtyard
