Croagh Patrick Visitor Centre

This building located at the foot of Croagh Patrick opposite the national famine monument serves climbers and visitors to the mountain. The centre includes a restaurant, gallery, shop and showers / locker facilities for climbers. Externally the overhanging eaves and entrance portico provide further shelter to building users. External materials are natural finish with local stone, untreated cedar cladding and joinery and zincs gutters and downpipes. Natural stone slates are used on the roofs.
