IDA Business Park

This 2 storey office building is the first phase of development for the Portwest group. The site of the building is in the new IDA Business and Technology Park in Westport Co. Mayo. The Structure is steel framed with concrete floors. Exterior finishes are argeton brick cladding, metal sheeting and steel glazing. Interior finishes are natural timber, aluminium glazing, tiling and carpets. The building is naturally lit and ventilated using a central atrium to create a “stack effect” . Photo-sensitive lighting and high levels of insulation reduce the energy demand.
